Studio Etiquette
  • Arrive 10 -15 minutes early and sign in at the front desk. We begin class right on time and you won't want to miss it!

 

  • Please place your shoes in shoe cubbies. Shoes are not allowed in the studio.

 

  • Keep all personal belongings outside of the yoga room. We suggest you leave valuables at home. 

 

  • Leave cell phones on silent and outside the yoga room.

  • Glass containers are not allowed. All containers must be sealed. Keep all food and gum out of the yoga room.

 

  • Wear clean appropriate sweat wicking attire that you can move freely in.

  • Stay for the entire class (this includes savasana). If you have a special circumstance, let the instructor know before class starts and set your mat near the door to leave before savasana begins. 

What is Power Yoga?

Power Yoga is a fitness-based vinyasa practice. It has many qualities and benefits including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility, as well as stress reduction.

Is heated yoga for me?

Yes! Yoga is for anyone who chooses to practice it no matter your age, sex, weight, or current physical abilities. You choose the intensity with which you work in each pose and throughout the practice. Come as you are, listen to your body and take modifications as needed.

How hot is the studio? 

The studio is efficiently heated between 87 - 92 degrees with infrared radiant heat. It's like practicing in the sunshine. 

 

How do I hydrate?

Come to class hydrated and stay hydrated throughout the class. We have a water refill station so drink up!

 

Do I need my own mat and props?

Bring your own mat and block and hand towel. We do have mats for rent ($5) and yoga blocks for your use. We also sell mats and yoga blocks. 

 

What should I wear to class?

We recommend moisture-wicking attire that fits close to the body and is easy to move in.

Do you have a shower?

YES! We have one shower. Be prepared for a quick turnover if needed.

 

How often should I practice?

A regular yoga practice will alleviate stress and tension, build your energy levels, create strength and balance and relieve aches and pains. A practice of 2-3 days per week will create transformation over time. For life-changing results practice 5-6 days per week.

 

Do I need to pre-register for classes?

We encourage you to pre-register for classes. Pre-registering not only reserves a spot in the class but also helps our teachers and staff prepare the studio for your visit. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class. If you are running late please let us know so we can hold your reservation. Show up ready to go!

Can I practice if I'm under 18?

You're welcome to practice with us if you are 16 or older.  If you are under 18 a parent must be present to sign our waiver before your first class.
